"The Finance Ministry's indicative figures have been fulfilled by 100.8%, with additional revenue of UAH 3.8 billion [US$160.5 million] to the budget," the STS press service said on January 3. "For the first time since 2011, the budget has been fulfilled by the Tax Service. There was no pressure for the taxpayers, unnecessary and unreasonable audits, fines, and extra charges. We have broken this shameful tradition by introducing proper administration based on the analytical work," the press service quoted STS Chairman Serhiy Verlanov as saying.
