"We believe that Ukraine's economy is capable of creating jobs and generating wealth. If principles of economic freedom are fulfilled, GDP is forecast to double in 15 years, based on the annual growth of 4.5%. Eventually, the country should reach 7% [GDP growth per year]," Abromavicius said while presenting the principles of Ukraine’s new economic strategy in Kyiv on July 10.

According to the minister, Ukraine's long-term strategy will be based on five principles of economic freedom, including the rule of law, protection of property rights, zero tolerance to corruption, free and fair competition, as well as limited and effective state apparatus.
