Yatsenyuk announces crisis in energy sector

"The energy sector is in crisis now. The [energy] ministry and relevant state companies are not ready to ensure heat and power supplies in the country," Yatsenyuk said at an extended meeting in Kharkiv with the participation of ministers, heads of eastern and southern regional administrations.

The prime minister also noted insufficient preparations of the housing and utility sector for the winter period.

"Half of the housing and utilities organizations are not ready for the winter," the prime minister said.
