State Treasury’s funds balance at 12-year high level

The State Treasury funds balance grew by 30.7%, or UAH 7.825 billion, as compared with the beginning of the previous month, a fivefold year-over-year increase and an increase by 11 times since the beginning of the year.

The funds balance in the single treasury account is not a constant value, subject to the increase due to revenues from taxes and other mandatory payments to the state and local budgets, and decrease during budget spending peaks.

As UNIAN reported earlier, the funds balance in the single treasury account as of July 1 totaled UAH 25.446 billion, which is 8.3% less than on June 1, 2015.
