Ukraine sees 15% drop in price of imported gas in Q2

The average weighed price of gas imported from the EU alone (including transportation costs as far as to Ukraine's border) in the second quarter of 2015 fell by 8.6% to $275 from $301 per 1,000 cubic meters in the first quarter of 2015.

From July 2014 to June 2015, Naftogaz imported 14.82 billion cubic meters (bcm) of natural gas. Of the amount, 4.26 bcm came from Russia.

As UNIAN reported earlier, the average weighed price of imported gas from Russia and the EU to Ukraine in the first quarter fell by 12.5% to $315 from $360 per 1,000 cubic meters.
