On August 19, the central bank set the following official exchange rates of the hryvnia against leading foreign currencies:
$100 – UAH 2,208.7367 (on August 18, it was UAH 2,201.8809);
EUR 100 – UAH 2,442.8628 (on August 18, it was UAH 2,444.0878);
10 RUR – UAH 3.3553 (on August 18, it was UAH 3.3615).
As UNIAN reported earlier, on Tuesday, August 18, hryvnia quotations against the dollar fell to UAH 22.07/22.20 to the dollar on the interbank currency market by the close of trade fell to UAH 22.07/22.20 to the dollar.
Hryvnia quotes against the euro have settled at UAH 24.3600/24.5020, while those against the Russian ruble have settled at UAH 0.3350/0.3380.
According to the National Bank of Ukraine, the weighted average exchange rate of the hryvnia as of 17:00 was UAH 22.0874 to the dollar, with 556 deals concluded by this time worth a total of $406.82 million.
