The central bank set the following official exchange rates of the hryvnia against leading foreign currencies on August 26, according to the NBU website:
USD 100 – UAH 2,262.3411 (on August 25 it was UAH 2,209.5544);
EUR 100 – UAH 2,603.0497 (on August 25 it was 2,492.5983);
RUR 10 – UAH 3.2344 (on August 25 it was 3.2435).
As UNIAN reported earlier, on August 25, hryvnia quotations against the dollar on the interbank currency market settled at UAH 22.55 / 22.65 by the close of trade.
Hryvnia quotes against the euro have settled at UAH 24.8490 / 25.9610, while those against the Russian ruble have settled at UAH 0.3280/0.3300.
According to the National Bank of Ukraine, the weighted average exchange rate of the hryvnia as of 17:00 was UAH 22.6234 to the dollar, with 513 deals concluded by this time worth a total of $314.90 million.
