Militant-occupied areas of Donbas switch to Russian ruble

"The single currency approved [in DPR] is the Russian ruble. The ruble is the only mandatory currency used for recalculation of prices, tariffs and payments from the budget," reads the report referring to the "government's decree"

As UNIAN reported earlier, Luhansk People’s Republic terrorist organization also announced it had switched to the Russian ruble on September 1 according to a corresponding decree of a self-proclaimed “Council of Ministers.”
