No negotiations have been held with the Russian aircraft manufacturer, and all the talks have been conducted with Airbus and Boeing, Iranian Minister of Roads and Urban Development Abbas Ahmad Akhoundi told reporters, adding that Iran had no plan to use Russian Sukhoi to revamp its aviation fleet.

At this, the minister stressed that sanctions relief would revitalize Iranian aviation industry after the nuclear deal with world powers would come into force.

It is reported that on September 23, Head of Iran's Aviation Industries Organization Manouchehr Manteghi said that an Iranian delegation had held a series of meetings in Moscow on leasing two Superjet 100 aircraft for the Iranian fleet.
