Russia names final price of gas for Ukraine - $227.4

"The price of gas supplies to Ukraine is fixed at the level of gas prices for the European Union member states bordering Ukraine," reads the explanatory note to the resolution published on the Russian Government’s website.

It was earlier reported that the contract price of Russian gas for Ukraine in Q4 will amount to $252 per thousand cubic meters. Thus, the final price of gas supplied to Ukraine will be at $227.4.

As UNIAN reported earlier, Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev signed a resolution regulating the procedure for price calculation regarding gas supplies to Ukraine for the period from from October 1, 2015 to December 31, 2015.
