Ukraine to export poultry to Saudi Arabia

"The audit ended successfully last week, and we've opened the Saudi Arabian poultry market," he told reporters.

However, he neither disclosed planned amounts of exports nor named farms, saying, however, that the companies are ready to supply poultry to Saudi Arabia.

As UNIAN reported earlier, Ukrainian companies were permitted in August 2015 to export edible chicken eggs to Israel and poultry to Egypt. Ovostar (Berezanska poultry factory in Kyiv region) and Avangard (Avis agri-firm in Khmelnytsky region) have already launched eggs exports to Israel.

A quota for the supply of poultry to Egypt is set at 12,000 tonnes.
