Naftogaz says failure of company's reform to cause default on EBRD loan

"This could lead to a default on the loan of the EBRD, to violation of the loan agreement," Vitrenko said.

He also said that he expected full implementation of a plan of corporate governance of the NJSC Naftogaz Ukrainy, as the Ukrainian authorities, including the President, supported this reform.

As UNIAN reported earlier, on October 16, the Cabinet of Ministers adopted a plan of corporate governance of the NJSC Naftogaz Ukrainy at a meeting with representatives of international financial organizations.

Ukrainian Energy Minister Volodymyr Demchyshyn has repeatedly criticized the plan.
