Ukraine sees highest State Treasury balance in 12 years

The State Treasury's balance grew by 9.9%, or UAH 4.333 billion, as compared with the beginning of the previous month, in annual terms by 7.1 times and by 16 times since the year's start.

The balance in the single treasury account is not a constant value, subject to an increase with revenues from taxes and other mandatory payments to the state and local budgets, and a decrease amid budget spending peaks.

As UNIAN reported earlier, the balance of assets in the single account of the State Treasury Service as of November 1, 2015, amounted to UAH 43.624 billion, which was 7.4%, or UAH 3.505 billion, down compared to early October.
