DPR authorities mulling coal sales to Europe and Middle East

"The Energy Ministry is looking for new additional sales markets. We should not focus only on a single partner - Ukraine. Therefore, we are considering the issues of [supplies to] Europe and the Middle East," the agency quoted Zakharchenko as saying.

The DPR leader also commented on sales of coal to Ukraine.

"Why not sell coal to Ukraine, if we can. The main thing is that they pay us for coal," he said.

Previously, DPR 'Transport Minister' Semen Kuzmenko said that the DPR militants intended to completely suspend the supplies of coal to Kyiv-controlled territories of Ukraine.
