A preliminary plan of work with the IMF should be finalized and approved until May 1, 2016, as instructed by newly appointed Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman, Kubiv said.
"There was a meeting of an ad hoc group last night where the Finance and Economy Ministries were present. They discussed the structure of communication [with the IMF]. There is a certain time frame for the fulfillment of instructions, including the preparation of bills for adoption by the Verkhovna Rada," Kubiv said.

"We will then formalize everything and inform [the public]. It will take some time, but we'd like to make it soon. This should be done by May 1, the premier has set a clear task," he added.
The Ukrainian authorities will also take into account the country's other lenders, namely the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and the World Bank, he said.
