"The maintenance works are scheduled to begin in July-August 2016, in order to ensure the stable functioning of the gas transmission corridor during the heating season, including for preparation – secure accumulation of natural in gas storage facilities across Ukraine," reads the statement.

As UNIAN reported earlier, Ukraine resumed the import of natural gas from Hungary April 21.
