For the first tranche of the program, the funds were allocated to projects as subvention from the state to the local budget.

After a competitive selection of projects, the Cabinet of Ministers allocated UAH 90.268 million for the implementation of 26 projects across the region.

"Today, the tender documentation for the first tranche has passed approval of the Ministry of Regional Development and is being considered by the EIB officials. A total of 202 project applications have been submitted by the Ministry of Regional Development for participation in the second tranche of the program (177 of them with expertise) at a total cost of UAH 991 million," the report says.
