"In response to the request of Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman on the need to increase production of the Ukrainian gas, the Ministry of Ecology has started a research on the introduction of new technologies during the exploration of potential gas fields," he said.
Semerak also said that environmental safety standards must be met with an increase in gas production.

The Minister also pointed out that the simplification of the system of special permits for subsoil use and implementation of an effective control system would reduce the risks of corruption and increase its own gas production.
