The law was adopted by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on July 14, 2016.
The law is aimed at creating favorable conditions for the development of the national aircraft industry and outlines amendments to Ukraine's laws in this regard. It also addresses the peculiarities of state property management in a military and industrial complex and the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine on regulation of the activities of business entities created with the participation of state-owned enterprises.

It will also help attract new technologies and investment in projects initiated by Ukrainian enterprises, while contributing to the creation of new jobs.
The law comes into effect one day after its publication.
