The highest retail turnover growth was recorded in Lviv and Kyiv regions – by 7.7% and 7.3%, to UAH 43.3 billion and UAH 38.5 billion, respectively. The steepest decline in trade turnover was reported in Donetsk region – by 5.9% to UAH 24.9 billion, the statistics service said.

The data is calculated excluding the temporarily-occupied territory of the Russian-annexed Crimea and part of the Anti-Terrorist Operation zone in eastern Ukraine.
As UNIAN reported earlier, retail trade turnover in Ukraine in 2015 shrank by 20.7% from 2014, to UAH 1.02 trillion, according to the State Statistics Service.
