"In January-September 2016, Derzharkhbudinspektsiya carried out more than 18,000 scheduled and unscheduled inspections of construction projects. At 5,800 sites, it revealed violations of city planning legislation, which is 20% more than the same period last year.Thus, violations were reported at one-third of all construction sites in Ukraine. Violators were fined for a total sum of UAH 205.8 million," the report says.

The largest number of licenses was issued in Kyiv – 1,300, in Dnipropetrovsk region – 423, and in Kyiv region – 359.
