In particular, they exported 10.6 million tonnes of wheat, about 4.1 million tonnes of barley, and 5.3 million tonnes of maize.

As UNIAN reported earlier, Ukraine exported a record high amount of grain in the 2015/2016 marketing year (June 2015-July 2016), which was estimated at 39.4 million tonnes vs. 34.8 million tonnes in the 2014/2015 marketing year. Experts predict grain exports in the current marketing year may hit 41 million tonnes.
The Agrarian Policy and Food Ministry projected Ukraine's grain harvest in the current year would be 64.2 million tonnes.
