Ukraine's Finance Ministry estimates GDP growth in 2016 at 1.8%

"Some 1.8% growth [was recorded] last year and we forecast 3% growth in 2017," she said at a workshop in Kyiv on the economic development of the regions.

As UNIAN reported earlier, Ukraine's GDP grew by 2% in the third quarter of 2016 year-over-year, according to the State Statistics Service of Ukraine.

The state budget for 2017 envisages a 3% GDP growth in Ukraine, while the International Monetary Fund forecasts a 2.5% GDP growth in Ukraine in 2017.
