"It is a record-breaking season... Sunflower oil output at large and medium-sized enterprises of Ukraine from September 2016 to February 2017 amounted to 2.92 million tonnes, which was almost 43% higher than in the same period last season," the report said.
In February 2017, Ukrainian enterprises produced 439,200 tonnes of sunflower oil, which was 7.7% down from January 2017, when negative dynamics were recorded, the analysts said.

According to State Statistics Service, the production of crude sunflower oil in Ukraine in 2016 grew by 20.2%, to 4.4 million tonnes.
Ukraine is the world's largest exporter of sunflower oil.
