Borsch vegetable kit rises in price in Ukraine

"Over the second decade of April, the prices of the vegetables used for cooking Ukrainian borsch have significantly increased – in general, the rise was at 31.5%," the report says.

According to the press service, cabbage has become 57.6% more expensive, at UAH 6.65 per kilogram, carrot price grew by 43.1%, to UAH 6.77 per kilogram, onion – by 36.1%, to UAH 5.28 per kilogram, beet – by 23.8%, to UAH 5.25 per kilogram, and potatoes – by 7.8%, to UAH 6.80 per kilogram.
