Transshipment of export cargo totaled 34.3 million tonnes (+2.4%), imports – at 6.029 million tonnes (+7.4%), transit – at 3.440 million tonnes (- 3.1%), inland traffic – at 288,000 tonnes (-23.5%), according to Port News.

In the reporting period, transshipment of liquid bulk cargo grew by 10.5% to 3.744 mln t including 1.13 mln t handled by Mykolayiv port (+47%), 1.0 mln t – by Yuzhny port (-22.7%) and 0.78 mln t – by Odesa port (+29.3%).

Container throughput in seaports of Ukraine grew by 1.9% to 193,835 TEUs including 165,694 TEUs handled by Odesa seaport.
From the beginning of the year, seaports of Ukraine handled 3,569 vessels (4.7%, year-on-year).
