
"We have discussed with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Portugal Augusto Silva the holding of the second meeting of the Ukrainian-Portuguese commission on economic cooperation in 2018 so that the trade volume continued to grow," Kubiv wrote on Facebook.
According to the minister, it is essential to resume the commission's work amid growth of bilateral trade, to give new impetus to the cooperation.

As UNIAN reported earlier, trade between Ukraine and Portugal in January-April 2017 rose by 25% year-over-year, to US$137 million. At the same time, Ukrainian exports over the period under review increased by 30%, to $121 million, while imports from Portugal fell by 4.3%, to $16 million.
