"But today Ukraine's economic success is on the agenda as well. To this end we voiced and introduced the idea of the ‘Marshall Plan’ in Europe and the United States," Viktoras Pranckietis said, adding that the initiative was supported both at the political and financial levels.
As UNIAN reported earlier, Ukraine's Minister of Economic Development and Trade Stepan Kubiv said the New European Plan for Ukraine prepared by the Seimas of Lithuania (the so-called "Marshall Plan for Ukraine") provides for at least EUR 5 billion in annual support from the European Union for the implementation of reforms aimed at the country's economic growth and development.
