Greenbrier's top management showed interest in cooperation with PJSC Ukrzaliznytsia. The company's plans are to build about 10,000 wagons in Ukraine with maximum localization of production," it said.

His deputy Nadiya Kaznacheyeva added that Greenbrier's appearance on the Ukrainian market could become an important step for the development of rail transportation, and is also a strong signal for other foreign investors.
As UNIAN reported earlier, Ukrzaliznytsia announced plans to create a leasing company jointly with Amsted Rail and The Greenbrier Companies to lease out wagons to Ukrainian transport operators.
