Read alsoUkraine sees reduction in pork, beef output since year's startAccording to the post, the ban is applicable to the import of live pigs, zoo and circus animals of susceptible species, sperm materials of boars, as well as pork and products made of it, tannery, horns, hooves, and casing, and other raw materials obtained from susceptible animal species. Also, the agency imposed restrictions on the import of fodder and feed additives for cats and dogs that contain pig-breeding raw materials from Zhytomyr region, as well as equipment used to transport, keep, slaughter pigs.

Yet, the agency stressed that the restrictions do not apply to permits that were issued in consultation with the committees for agriculture and food of Belarus, for meals that have undergone thermal processing for the production of mixed fodders for animals and valuable fish.
