Exports of goods from Ukraine over the period under review grew by 21.1% y-o-y, to $27.512 billion, while imports of goods rose by 27.4%, to $30.791 billion, the service said in a statement.

The ratio of coverage of imports by exports was 0.89 in January-July 2017 against 0.94 y-o-y.

Ukraine traded with 219 countries and territories.

The volume of exports to the Russian Federation increased by 17.7%, to $2.620 billion, while imports of goods from Russia rose by 37.2%, to $4.204 billion.

As UNIAN reported earlier, the deficit of Ukraine's foreign trade in commodities was estimated at US$2.7 billion in January-July 2017, which was by 2.8 times up from a $980.4 million deficit y-o-y.
