The elimination of corruption is one of the priority tasks, the implementation of which will significantly accelerate the country's GDP growth, the IMF official said at a forum in Kyiv on November 3.

As UNIAN reported, the IMF insists on creating an anti-corruption court in Ukraine, as well as showing concrete results in the fight against corruption to continue the lending program.

Ukraine's GDP grew by 2.3% in 2016. At the same time, economic growth has been recorded for the first time in Ukraine over the past four years. In monetary terms, 2% of Ukraine's GDP is estimated at over $2 billion.
