Crop production in 2017 is expected to decline by 3.4%, to UAH 178.7 billion ($6.7 billion), however, the production of wheat, rye, buckwheat, peas, rice, rapeseed and potatoes will grow, the experts said.

Livestock output will be estimated at UAH 69.2 billion ($2.6 billion) in 2017, which is 0.6% down from 2016.

As UNIAN reported earlier, agricultural production in Ukraine grew by 6.1% in 2016 against 2015. In particular, agricultural enterprises boosted output by 9.8% in 2016 from 2015, while private farmers' output rose by 1.5%, according to the State Statistics Service.
