According to the court's ruling, the property was seized for the debts worth $1.2 million (plus UAH 2.7 million/$99,558 in interest on the debt) to the plaintiff, whose name is also not specified.

As UNIAN reported earlier, Nasalyk has been the Energy and Coal Industry Minister in the government of Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman since the middle of April 2016.

In 2016, the minister declared UAH 1.2 million ($44,248) in revenue, as well as $900,000 and UAH 1.4 million ($51,622) in monetary assets. According to the declaration register, Nasalyk is the owner of a 287.7-square-meter apartment in Kyiv, as well as a house with an area of 561.4 square meters and a land plot of 1,510 square meters in Kozyn.
