Relevant bill No. 6776-d was backed by 252 MPs with the required minimum at 226 votes on December 7.

There are several thousand of electric cars on the country's roads for the time being. Ukraine ranked world's fifth in terms of electric vehicles purchase rates, ahead of the U.S., the Netherlands, and Japan.
