
The country's consolidated budget in the 11 months of 2017 saw a surplus of UAH 33.917 billion ($1.2 billion) against a deficit of UAH 9.988 billion ($357.5 million) y-o-y, it said.

As UNIAN reported earlier, Ukraine posted a budget deficit in 2016, which amounted to UAH 70.13 billion ($2.51 billion), or 2.9% of GDP.
Ukraine's national budget for 2017, taking into account adjustments, foresees revenue at UAH 771 billion ($27.6 billion) and spending at UAH 841 billion ($30.1 billion). A threshold deficit level is set at UAH 77.5 billion ($2.8 billion), which is also 3% of GDP.
