Rates of the Ukrainian hryvnia against the U.S. dollar on the interbank forex market by the middle of trading on Thursday, January 25, were set at UAH 28.74/28.78 per dollar.
Thus, the hryvnia had strengthened by 4 kopiykas from the start of trading, a bank dealer said.
Interbank rates against the euro were UAH 35.63/35.68 and those against the Russian ruble were UAH 0.5137/0.5138.

As UNIAN reported earlier, on Wednesday, January 24, hryvnia quotations against the dollar on the interbank currency market by the close of trade settled at UAH 28.79/28.82 to the dollar.
Hryvnia quotes against the euro settled at UAH 35.6852/35.7195, while those against the Russian ruble settled at UAH 0.5056/0.5067.
