
Ukraine's Finance Ministry estimates total payments from the national budget to repay and service state debt in 2018 at UAH 305.926 billion (US$10.98 billion).
In particular, domestic debt payments will account for 63.2% of the said amount, while the share of foreign debt repayments will be 36.8%, the State Debt Management Program for 2018 said.

The cost of state debt servicing will account for 14.3% of the expenses of the national budget's general fund.
As UNIAN reported earlier, Ukraine's state and government-guaranteed debt in 2017 increased by 7.5%, to $79.31 billion. If estimated in the hryvnia equivalent, it grew by 11%, to UAH 2.142 trillion.
Taking into account the National Bank's estimates of Ukraine's nominal GDP at UAH 2.930 trillion ($105.1 billion), the state debt at the end of 2017 accounted for 73.1% of GDP.
The total amount of Ukraine's state and government-guaranteed debt in the hryvnia equivalent is in line with the annual state budget limits set for 2017 at UAH 2.296 trillion ($82.4 billion).
