
Ukrainian citizens have boosted purchases of goods online this year.

The share of those who prefer buying online household appliances and electronics is 46%, while the share of pollees who buy perfumes and cosmetics is slightly smaller, i.e. 37%," the Ukrainian TSN TV news service reported on September 21, referring to a survey by CBR, a research agency.
Citizens aged 26-45 is the largest category of online buyers, the report said.
"Young people under 26 are the most active buyers, while residents of western Ukraine order goods most often, in terms of regions," the publication added.

- A total of 69% of Ukrainians have experienced the economic impact of the coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic, according to a survey commissioned by UNICEF.
- Moreover, Ukrainians see a shortage of gadgets amid the lockdown since, in conditions of curbs, access to the Internet and computers has become a prerequisite for full-fledged education.
- According to the poll, 16% of Ukrainians experienced a shortage of gadgets, while 73% used the Internet daily during the quarantine.
