In particular, the price of buckwheat increased sharply by 18% in April. The Cabinet of Ministers imposed a ban on its exports until July 1 to protect the domestic market amid the coronavirus pandemic. As UNIAN reported earlier, the State Statistics Service listed the products that had grown in price most since the beginning of the year. The prices of buckwheat, onions and apples increased most. The price of buckwheat alone rose by almost 30%.
