The average price of natural gas imported into Ukraine in the first month of 2020 amounted to $250.1 per 1,000 cubic meters against $202.5 a month earlier.
This constitutes a 23.5% rise from December, says the Ministry for Development of Economy, Trade and Agriculture.

"The State Customs Service of Ukraine has calculated the average cost of imported natural gas, which was formed in the process of customs clearance of imports from January 1 to January 31, 2021, which is UAH 7,044.89, or US$ 250.1, per 1,000 cubic meters," the report says.
Background
The average price of imported natural gas in December 2020 amounted to $202.5 per 1,000 cubic meters, which was 11% higher than in November 2020.
