
The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) has set the official exchange rate of the hryvnia against the U.S. dollar at UAH 28.40 per U.S. dollar for Wednesday, January 6.
Thus, the hryvnia got stronger by three kopiykas compared to the previous day, according to the NBU's website.

The official forex rate of the hryvnia against the euro was set at UAH 34.85 per euro for January 6, which let the hryvnia strengthen by nine kopiykas compared to the previous day.
NBU's official rate
According to the NBU's official website, the Central Bank set the following official forex rate of the hryvnia to world currencies for January 6:
- US$100 will be quoted for UAH 2,840.28 (UAH 2,843.1 on January 5);
- EUR 100 will be quoted for UAH 3,484.6 (UAH 3,493.89 on January 5).
Interbank rate
Hryvnia quotations against the dollar on the country's interbank forex market settled at UAH 28.28 / 28.30 per dollar as of 16:00 Kyiv time on January 5. Quotations against the euro were UAH 34.71 / 34.73 per euro.
Forex rates on previous day
The official forex rate of the hryvnia to the U.S. dollar was set at UAH 28.43 per U.S. dollar for Tuesday, January 5, which made the hryvnia weaken by 16 kopiykas compared to the previous business day.
