
Ukraine's rail giant Ukrzaliznytsia ensures it will provide long-distance and commuter rail transport services during a new lockdown in the country scheduled from January 8 to January 24, 2021.
This is said in an announcement on the national rail operator's website.

At the same time, Ukrzaliznytsia promises to take all anti-epidemic measures for the safety of passengers during their trips.
"We urge passengers to comply with the mandatory mask regime during travel and use a hand sanitizer. In case of violation of these standards, please contact our contact center: 800-50-3111. We will immediately respond to such [reports on] violations," it said.
Ukrzaliznytsia's operation amid holiday season
- This year, Ukrzaliznytsia has additionally launched 17 trains to carry passengers during the winter holidays. They service the most popular destinations in the country.
- In particular, passengers have several additional opportunities to get to the Slavske ski resort in Lviv region.
- Over 5,400 passengers were travelling by rail on New Year's Eve, and in total 60 passenger trains were in operation on January 1, 2021.
