Ukraine ranks 5th among the Top 5 least expensive countries for 1GB of mobile data.
"The five cheapest countries in terms of the average cost of 1GB of mobile data are India ($0.09), Israel ($0.11), Kyrgyzstan ($0.21), Italy ($0.43), and Ukraine ($0.46)," as reported by Cable.co.uk, a broadband, TV and phone comparison website.
It says Ukraine has excellent fibre broadband infrastructure.
"The five most expensive countries in terms of the average cost of 1GB of mobile data are São Tomé and Príncipe ($28.26), Bermuda ($28.75), Nauru ($30.47), the Falkland Islands ($40.41), and Saint Helena ($52.50)," it said.
As reported earlier, the use of mobile data worldwide in the first quarter of 2020 grew by 14% year-over-year amid the coronavirus pandemic, according to the Ericsson Mobility Report.
