Avihai Mandelblit

AVIHAI MANDELBLIT, is a citizen of the State of Israel, a lawyer, who served as the Chief Military Advocate of the Israel Defense Forces from 2004 to 2011, as Secretary of the Israeli Government from 2013 to 2016, as Legal Adviser to the Israeli Government (Head of the Legal and Judicial System of the Executive Branch of the State of Israel) from 2016 to 2022, and concurrently, the Attorney General of Israel, holds the rank of Major General of the Israeli Defence Forces with extensive experience in legal work in the military sphere, and a doctorate in law. Currently, he is a professor of law at Bar-Ilan University of Israel and is also an attorney-at-law in the State of Israel. He is currently included in the Unified Register of Advocates of Ukraine in accordance with the procedure established by the legislation of Ukraine and is entitled to practice law in Ukraine. He is the defence counsel of Igor Kolomoisky in the criminal proceedings investigated by the Bureau of Economic Security of Ukraine.
