Since a fire broke out at the BRSM-Nafta oil depot (in Kryachky village of Vasylkiv district) on Monday evening experts of the State Sanitary and Epidemiological Service of Ukraine have been constantly carry out laboratory monitoring of air pollution in Kyiv and human settlements in Kyiv region.

In particular, the concentration of nitrogen dioxide and formaldehyde in Kyiv is within the values that are typical for this time from car emissions, and do not pose a threat to human life and health.

The fire at the oil depot has not affected the background radiation level in Kyiv and Kyiv region, which is within the normal range, according to the statement.
