Dynamo Kyiv 3-1 home winners against Young Boys Berne

Ukraine's Dynamo Kyiv were 3-1 home winners against Switzerland's Young Boys Berne in the UEFA Champions League third qualifying round at Kyiv's NSC Olimpiyskiy Stadium on Wednesday, July 26, according to the UEFA official website.

"Dynamo have taken the upper hand in a tie by beating Young Boys in Kyiv," the UEFA said.

Pavelko re-elected as president of Football Federation of UkraineAt the 15th minute of the game, Dynamo Kyiv captain Andriy Yarmolenko scored the first goal and set up his team's striker Dieumerci Mbokani for the second one.

Christian Fassnacht almost gave Young Boys late hope; but Ukrainian football midfielder Denys Garmash quickly made it 3-1.

The second leg is to be played in Switzerland on August 2.
