A blast occurred in Kyiv's Solomyansky district at night, June 22, as the attackers hurled Molotov cocktails at the Oschadbank building.

"Windows were damaged in the building and a fire broke out there. As a result, no one was injured. According to preliminary information, the fire broke out since the attackers had thrown Molotov cocktails there," the police said.

Local residents say they heard sounds, similar to an explosion. After that, a fire broke out in the bank's premises. Firefighters and ambulance teams quickly arrived at the scene, as reported by Espresso.

The law enforcers were informed about the incident at about 04:00 Kyiv time and immediately rushed to the scene.

According to preliminary information, no one was injured. It is not yet known whether unknown persons have penetrated the premises of the bank. Investigators, criminologists and explosive ordnance disposal teams are working on the scene. The circumstances of the incident are being clarified.
