Kyiv police officers had to fire at a car after the driver refused to stop.

The incident took place in Kyiv's Holosiyivsky district at 22:40 Kyiv time on February 24. The police stopped a KIA car. However, the female driver refused to get out of the car and started to drive to run away, the Ukrainian TSN news service reported with reference to law enforcement sources.

The police made a few warnings to the woman who was driving the car, and then opened fire. They fired 10 bullets, some of which hit the car. However, the car was stopped only after it had rammed the fence of a private house.

According to a preliminary report, the car driver was under the influence of alcohol.
