Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko will represent the capital of Ukraine at the annual international property summit MIPIM hosted in Cannes on March 12-15.
The topic of this year's event is "Engaging the Future," the mayor's press service reports.
"As MIPIM 2019 celebrates its 30th edition, the real estate conferences programme gives a unique opportunity to envision the next 30 years under the lens of 'durability:' an enabler for economic growth, sustainable performance and community cohesion. The real estate industry has a whole new cycle to work with over the next 30 years, fostering a lasting, positive impact in each and every built environment," the organizers of the event said in an announcement.
In Cannes, Klitschko will open a Kyiv booth and promote major real estate investment and development opportunities in the city to international property investors.
Besides, Kyiv mayor will be participating in the "fDi Location Awards" ceremony hosted by the Foreign Direct Investment Magazine (a division of The Financial Times), which will select the most successful locations globally for investment attraction.
This year, MIPIM is expected to bring together over 26,000 attendees from 100 countries worldwide. This flagship event will gather about 6,000 international investors and almost 4,000 CEOs of the industry key companies.
MIPIM is a unique international networking platform to discover new urban development investment opportunities, urban areas development and tourism as well as meet potential partners to secure investments.
